- Mission Statement: Hope
Church exists to glorify God by learning, following, and sharing
the Word of God and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, both
locally and globally, through the empowering presence of the
Holy Spirit.
Vision Statement: (how we will accomplish the mission) The vision
of Hope Church is to grow and develop followers of Jesus Christ
who understand and live their calling as missionaries, spreading
Gods love to the world.
Core Values:
- Missions: This is the foundational value of Hope Church. We
not only support and pray for several cross-cultural missionaries
around the world, but we also understand the critical importance
of going ourselves. Every follower of Christ has
been sent on the mission of God to their friends, families, and
co-workers. That is why we dont just support missionaries,
but we are missionaries. (John 20:21, Luke 10:1-3)
- Biblical Teaching: At Hope Church, we unapologetically and
faithfully teach the Word of God and seek to apply it to our
lives. (Acts 20:27, 2 Timothy 4:2)
- Prayer: Hope Church is a praying church. We will never cease
to call on the name of the Lord and petition Him to move in powerful
ways. When we pray, it not only stretches our faith in the Lord,
but it demonstrates that our trust is in God and not ourselves.
Hope Church will only grow as the Spirit of God moves and directs
our course and prayer is a vital element in that process. (2
Chronicles 7:14,
Isaiah 56:7)
- Discipleship: While we want to see as many people as possible
find Jesus as their Savior, we know that conversion is only the
beginning of a life-long relationship with the Lord. At Hope
Church, we seek to cultivate an environment where people are
challenged to grow in their knowledge of Christ and led to engage
the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 3:10-11,
2 Peter 1:5-9)
- Fellowship: Hope Church is a warm and friendly community of
people who are pursuing Christ together on this journey we call
life. We are a very welcoming group of people who would love
to have you join us on the journey. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Ephesians
4:3-6)
